Ricky Person Jr.
Running Back #8 – North Carolina State University
“Don’t Be Local”
When Ricky was growing up, his coach, Coach Sanders, said, “Don’t Be Local,” which means you have to try to make it out of your city. Coming from a small town near Raleigh, NC, Ricky’s goal is to be the first person in his family to graduate from college and make it to the NFL. Ricky strives to be the guy who’s not stuck in his city but the man who makes it out.
From Louisburg, North Carolina, Ricky Person Jr. loves working with kids, giving back to his community, and outdoor sports like hunting and fishing. Ricky gives credit to his parents and cousin Terrell as his biggest motivators, as they have been there for him through the highs and lows. In addition to his skill on the field, Ricky loves helping others and is always looking for ways to give back to the community.
To go to the NFL. But if God has different plans, I would love to be a successful businessman, whether that is owning my own business or being part of a top firm.
I want to try duck hunting this year!
